It’s absolutely beautiful, like a tourist attraction on its own with its own history and culture, residing on a very large compound facing the West Lake, with beautiful landscaped gardens and villas. As we stay at building 7 which is far away from the main building 8, we are glad that there is a reception at building 7 which makes it very convenient that we could get taxis and do our checkouts. The room is beautiful. The toilet floor is heated and so is the toilet seat, which makes it comfortable to use in winter. There are luxurious accompanying toiletries and room facilities. It is a perfect resort to relax in with a private part of the West Lake to enjoy. To get to other places, one would need a taxi as the attractions are rather too far to walk. But it is possible for taxis to ride directly to the building where we stay which makes it convenient.

Incredibly beautiful garden, perfect management, great comfort, wonderful food and very helpful and friendly staff. The information about the property in the room is very helpful. We were pleasantly surprised to find so many culturally and historically important points. It is a serene, uplifting and inspiring place.

Staffs are very professional, efficient and helpful. Food at both cafe and Chinese restaurant are very tasty and creative.
